For this, our fourth workshop, Maxine and Natalie will be offering an opportunity to explore, through Yoga and Bowen Technique, the different ways in which we move. Exploring both floor and standing postures, there will be particular attention given to the spine, and the experience of opposing forces; lightness and lift, ground and support, aspects that affect all living things.

Date: Sunday 17th March 2019 Time: 10.30am – 4.30pm

Maxine and Natalie have again brought together their practices to devise a day of enquiry and insight with particular attention given to the way in which we move.
The day will be divided into four sessions, each of which will be repeated before the gentle (optional) application of Bowen Technique.
There will be a theme of enquiry that relates to different options for movement, working with and against gravity to find the most harmonious movements. We will sometimes work with the body as ‘whole’ and sometimes with differentiation of the parts.
The work is not about stretching, but it might be…it’s not about doing postures better, but that be an outcome……
The day will also be punctuated with some breath awareness practice.
Please wear loose comfortable clothing and either bring lunch with you or there are other options in the area.
This workshop is relevant for new comers, and for those who have attended previous days, as a continuation.
